- Participate fully in training opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.
- Pass all testing that is required from the State of Illinois.
- Provide excellent service through proper treatment techniques. All training will be paid by The Mosquito Authority.
- Present Complimentary Service coupons to interested parties for referral fee commission.
- Be knowledgeable of all services provided to help identify problems and offer service solutions.
- Communicate with the customer everything related to their application and future applications.
- Properly apply chemicals following all company, state, and federal regulations.
- Safely drive a company provided truck to and from the customer's location following all state and federal laws.
- Follow the assigned route and timeline provided by the Management staff to service accounts.
- Communicate with the other members of Mosquito Authority staff any feedback pertinent to operations.
- Keep all working areas neat and clean at all times, including cleaning work truck weekly.
- Operate a backpack fogger which weighs up to 60 lbs.
- Access database and mapping systems through mobile computing devices.
- Respond to management and customer service requests.
- Hang door hangers and place yard signs within the neighborhood of customers as directed.
- Responsible for accurately mixing and applying pesticides.
- Prepare daily field service reports and keeps accurate records of pesticide applications and other field activities.
- Must have adequate written and verbal English communication ability.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
- Qualified candidates must have high school diploma/GED or college degree.
- Must be able to pass all required testing from the State of Illinois. The Mosquito Authority will pay all expenses for testing.
- No experience needed. You will be provided paid training.
- Must have 3+ years of driving history.
- Strong interpersonal skills to speak with coworkers, customers, and other business professionals.
- Ability to earn a General Standards Pesticide Certification via IL Dept. of Agriculture within 14 Days of Hire.
- Ability to travel to customer locations driving company vehicle.
- Ability to work outdoors in the elements.
